Ride Quality

My Toyo's were delivered today! (it's pretty funny coming home to a stack of tires on your doorstep (tires4less.com/ next set, 4th tire free for the plug, right guys?)

I measured them out, and compared to the F1's I had on there from stock, I'm going from a total measurement of 4.5" in the rear to 3.5" (rim to tread). Will I notice a significant change in ride quality with the reduction of rubber b/n the wheels?

Logic tells me I will, however I'm just wondering if you all have found it significant enough to tell a difference.

I've found the Toyos to ride smoother actually, especialy after a few hundred miles when they broke in. I'd recommend going to a shop with road force balancing machines that can handle 20 inch tires and also has the latest computerized alignment tools, both of those things made such a big difference with how my car drives now. Good luck,

Eric

DID you notice any degredation in Handling with the TOYO tires.
From the reviews i have read they have a softer sidewall then the OEM GoodYears. Are you still running the OEM 20' Staggered size.
If so do u notice more sidewall flex how are they wearing too.

The Toyos are all season tires, like the Goodyear RS-A's that was an option on our cars. The Toyos won't handle as good on warm dry roads as the F-1's, but they are still good nonetheless. What size tires did you go with? It sounds like they are too tall if they are 2" taller overall than the stock F-1's. I'm guessing that you went a 60 series tire if they are really that tall.

The tires have been on, and I've been driving them over the weekend with no issues. I got them on the interstate today and at about 75-80mph there is a significant vibration. I took them in to get realigned just in case, and I'm having the same issue. It actuallly sucks.

I remember a thread on here that talked about this issue, I'm going to go hunting for it now.

I did not notice any compromise in handling with the Toyos, they feel like they bite plenty hard. Unless you really drive the sh!t out of your car on warm and dry days, you will never notice that the F1's are gone - well except that you do not feel the bumps as much
