Brake Rotor Install

I will be installing new Centric Posi-Quiet Pads and OEM slotted rotors on my 06 SRT8 this weekend and was wondering if anyone has a detailed writeup for the install. I have not seen a writeup for the rotors, but have seen one for the pads. THanks!

Dave Z

you need Dave Z, our resident brake guru. He has a complete article on how to properly install slotted rotors and pads on our cars with pics.

Try posting in the Brakes section as well.

DaveW68, where are you? Link needed!

I could not find info on the rotor install on Dave Z's site. After you remove the two bolts holding the caliper, is there anything specific you need to do to remove the rotor?
