Toyo Proxes 4, 275/40/20?

Based upon everything I have read on this forum, I am about to replace my Goodyear RSA's with the Toyo Proxes 4, 275/40/20 on all 4 wheels. Since it appears that this tire has not been discussed in a while, I would really appreciate any input or advice. Am I picking the right size to go all around? Should I pick a different size? If anyone thinks that this "union should not take place, speak now or forever hold your piece".

You guys have always given great advice and information and I would really appreciate any input or advice.

get 'em!

The Toyo Proxes plus 4 is absolutely the best bang for the buck out there.

If you had F1's they are almost as good for half the price. If you have RSA's they completely TRANSFORM your car! I like staggered, but size is a personal preference and many members run the 275/40/20 all the way around and report no issues.

They were the identicle size in height as the rsa 245/45/20, just wider. I love them. I was concerned about putting on a tire that would be taller since that would lower your acceleration. Here's a pic to compare (poor cell phone quality pic).

I have em on all four corners, and the grip while taking fast corners is incredible, they are quieter than either the f1's or the Avon tech tires i had, and they ride a lot smoother than i could have imagined.

my only complaint (if you can call it that) is that it is very hard to get the wheels to spin, even with esp completely off..... which essentially means a smoother launch, but less impressive from outside the car.... LOL

These should be the factory tires that come on this car.... and by the way they are cheaper than almost anything else as well.

i only have them on my rears, running 245/45 on the front. i love the toyos for the price and performance. went through two full sets of F1s before i found these...glad i found them.

brad, i've got to happily disagree...i get my wheels to spin at will (predator baby!!!). i even get them to chirp when shifting to 2nd.

will someone find a way for me to get some mods that i can write off as a company purchase???? i would love to have a predator, and a few other mods even...

Although I must say, I probably have the company car to envy.
