Yet another tire SIZE question - Re: Toyo Proxes 4

I'm still a little bit confused. First off - I will most likely be buying Toyo Proxes 4 tires to replace the F1 Supercar tires. That said.... I want to be able to rotate - so all four tires have to be the same size. [Obviously] I'm torn between getting 245's, 255's or 275's. Most of you seem to say that 275's fit fine - they look great and there is NO RUBBING problems. Would that also true for 255's all around?! I ask - because the 255's are 'taller' than either the 245's OR 275's. It should be noted that the 245's on the car now DO rub when I'm backing up with the wheels turned all the way to the 'right'.
Also.....
Are there any negatives to having 275's? Would they be noisier than either of the two narrower sizes? Would they be less effective in light snow? Would tires that wide put an extra burden on any of the cars parts - suspension, steering, steering pump, etc.

According to the Toyo Proxes 4 pamplet I have - the 255's and the 275's are 'reinforced'. The 245's are not. What does that mean?!

I doubt they actually rub, most times it's just the extreme camber of the front tires when turned causing a "skip". But I have never tried 255's on the front!
Also.....

275's will likely cost a wee bit of precision in the steering response. That's normal for wider tires on any car in the front. They will generate marginally higher forces on the cars components, but nothing harmful.

255s all the way around do not rub, I have been happy with them. Note that my tires have been wearing very evenly since I had my alignment adjusted when I had new tires put on, so much that I think I will go staggered on my next set of tires which will be later this year. I don't know if you could tell the difference or not, but the main difference would end up being the shape of the tread contact patch in the front, a little longer and more narrow with the 255s versus the 275s. Theoretically the longer and more narrow contact patch would give better handling, but again I bet the difference in this case is very small.

Toyo Proxes 245's in front 255's in back: Handle great. 95% as sticky as F1's on dry pavement, VERY predictable, fronts do not rub, nor do they "Chunk" when flogged HARD on a road course. Rears do not come apart from (lotsa) big smokey burnouts. Drawback: Cannot rotate front to rear.
255's all the way around. Same as above except: Do rub Hotchkis front swaybar at full lockout ONLY. Can be rotated. 255's are a little bit less $ than 245's or 275's.
245's in front, 275's in back (my favorite). Helps put additional power "to the ground" aka less unwanted wheelspin. Obviously cannot be rotated. 245's and 275's are identical height: Car sits very flat.
275's all around: Look cool like Moose A bit more rolling resistance up front (not ideal for performance). More rotating mass (not ideal for performance).
255's up front and 275's in back: I don't like taller front tires than rears so I vote no.
BTW: The Proxes 4's are WAY better, and cheaper, and look better, and DON'T do the 75-80mph shimmy like the F1's.
My Proxes also lasted me TWICE as long as F!'s.

I want to put 245's in the front and 275's in the back. I do want to run Toyo's but, I want to run the T1R's. They don't come in 45's so my question is what profile should I run front to back for the proper rake? 35's in the front/ 40's in the rear?
I'm running Toyo Proxes 4 245/45X20 on the front, 275/45X20 on the rear. Love the additional rubber out back. Yeah, can't rotate them but really don't care.

Where Will I Go Now That I've Gone Too Far?
I'm leaning towards 255's all the way around. But knowing me - that won't be the 'final answer' until I'm actually at the tire shop waiting for them to be put on my car!!! And THEN I'll probably wonder if I should have done something else. You know something? I find myself to be quite annoying at times!! lol
