Just change pads to Posi Quiet or do rotor and pads ??

Hey guys I've been reading some threads and are inrested in these posi quiet pads but heres the deal. I had all 4 rotors and pads changed out at 16000 miles and they were done by Chrysler. All Brembo , now at 31000 miles my front pads down to the pad warning but my rear pads are at least 90% still. Now my question is should I turn the front rotors and just put in new posi quite pads or should I buy new front rotors and place new posi quite pads in ?? I have known that turning rotors and doing a pad replacement in the past have started sqeaking after a couple thousand mile so if thats the case with these I do not want to do that ?? Also do these posi quite pads just slip right into the brembo calipers or do I need new hardware also ?? Thanks peeps.

Remove the pins and the old pads just slide out and the new ones slide in. I did it without a caliper press-just used my fingers to pry them apart to slip back over the rotor.

I was twice disappointed in past cars turning rotors. They warped again very soon. Best to buy new ones IMHO if the existing ones are warped. If not, just keep them as they only have 15K miles on them. Mine are fine at 33K miles after being changed to the slotteds at 10K miles by Chrysler. I also changed over to Posi-Quiets when they became available.

Cool , I think I will do the posi quites then and see how it works out any problems and I will just buy new rotors as well. Does this seem unusual to anyone that my front pads are shot this fast compared to the rear ?? I mean a possible porportioning valve issue ?? thanks again

Well that's "normal" under most cases, but if the ratio of ware is that high from front vs rear, there has to be something going on. With mine, I had to replace the rears first, before the fronts. But I just ended up doing all 4 at once, thanks to the good ol ESP. That's why I hold the key to on when I'm on a slow roll to turn all of that crap off. BUT, Have you had a fluid flush ever?

Same in my case. Im actually about to replace the pads now with my posi quiets i ordered. My rotors look great and only have 18k on them. Just some slight wear marks from the pad sensors touching on the inside and out to let me know the pads were low but other than that, no warp or any bad grooves on the actual braking surface that would mean a replacement is needed.

i didnt use that exact procedure but its first drive was similar considering i live in so cal and drive 60 miles in hurry up and slow down traffic. brakes work well but so far the performance level dropped dramatically but im not racing my srt8 just having fun on the streets. next up its headers , exhaust and supercharger.
