Funny thing rotors, brakes, shimmy 80MPH

So I had the "TSBs" for the slotted rotors and the squealing brakes done on my 2006 SRT8 that now has 19.5K on it. Of course paid for it. Old rotors were grooved and brakes were loud. Car is quiet and braking just fine - still some dust. Anyhow my RSA tires are orig and will need to be replaced in a few months. I have the shimmy at 80MPH and planned on getting that addressed at that time - alignment is waste of money now. Funny thing though. since the rotors/brake work the shimmy is way way better - at times almost not there. Gonna still get the tires but thought I'd share that.

nice

nice upgrade.

Yeah, a lot of the time simply removing and replacing the tire on the hub changes those kinds of issues just from the indexing of the tire/wheel.

Make sure whatever tire you get is unidirectional and properly speed rated. I personally do not use the SUV tires. You'll need a really good tire tech to mount, balance, and align your car.

It makes a delightful difference!
