SRT-8 OEM Brakes (Moved)

Anyone recently purchased OEM pads for the SRT8 Brembos??

I saw the pads at Moparsuper center for
Fronts - $280
Rear - $201
These prices are the same as if I purchased them directly from the dealer.

I would prefer to pay a bit less unless I have to.

Please let me know

How much?
Where?

Thanks

You'll pay less for the posi-quiets from Zeckhausen and be much happier in the end.

beware

just beware, changing the pads can DRAMATICALLY affect brake performance.

The 'cruisers' love the posiQ's. They didn't last a week on my car.

Bendix makes a near duplicate of our stock pads for less than 100 bucks for all 4 wheels!

If you need rotors they are under 80 bucks each for factory Mopar slotteds.

Absolutely the easiest brake job in my entire stable

I got the Bendix and am pleased. Not exactly the same BITE but much less dust. Cost around $70 for all 4 pads

I agree and have done the same. Dust is emensely less however wet braking is nowhere near stock performance. It's a little unnerving at first but then you expect it and it's not an issue. I don't think I'd run these at the track but am otherwise very happy with the Posi's.

So basically if I want the exact OEM pads (Not bendix) I would have to purchase them thru the dealer?

Glad the rotors aren't too much compared to the brake pads which will ease my mind when I have to purchase new ones.

Even though brakes that don't work are NOT funny, that last line sure is!

Just curious why you mentioned the rotors in the post? Are the bendix hard on the rotors?

How long should the OEM slotted rotors last??
