halos when raining goes out

Hi
When ever it rains my right halo after a while will go out,it take time to sit in the garage to dry and the halo comes on real slow in a clockwise motion till it is a complete circle and then comes to full brightness, when its dry no problems, the ballast are located behind the fascia on the fram along with all my other HID ballast and the oter halo has no problem, any ideas

The problem is moisture getting into the connector between the ballast and the halo ring.



Take apart and clean the connector then get shrink wrap tubing and make sure that the connection is water tight and water-proof. The inverter itself is sealed in epoxy, so unless they are cracked the problem has to be in the wiring.

Shorting across the halo socket is the number one way to kill the inverter. I actually cut the plugs off, then individually soldered and heat shrunk wrapped all my connections.
