2005 - 2009

No benefit to do the whole thing. If you want the improved handling, get the SRT8 swaybars, springs and shocks.

A gear swap to a 3.06:1 set? Why not get a higher ratio set with an LSD?

Not the first gen units. You could check for a 2nd gen unit.

Yea the 05-08 models did not come with LSD's aka Limited slip differentials in the stock carriers, a lot of the LX guys will do a getrag swap from a Challenger with a gear set and the clutch based lsd from mopar into the early model vehicles, it requires more than just the carrier though, it's pretty much everything after the transmission.

I would find an LX SRT8 rear end and do a wavetrac with some DSS axles or even build up your rear end, and if you're looking to change the ratio then go with either the 3.23 or 3.55 sets, don't go higher unless you have a reason to. Most guys that have higher ratios tend to cut them back down or swap out their entire rears for lower geared rears. If you have any questions feel free to ask, I'll be glad to help!
