Lowering 2009 300C AWD - Best Option?

I would like to lower my 2009 300C AWD & I was wondering if anyone had any tips on what would work best.

I was thinking 1.5 inches in front & 1 inch rear, to give it a bit more aggressive stance.

Also I would like to keep the suspension as comfortable as possible, obviously it wont be as comfy as stock, but I also don't want it breaking my back

Additionally, something that won't break the bank would be nice.

I noticed the Eibach kit EB-2879.140 for about 300 bucks. Would that do the job ok?

Also, I was thinking of maybe putting on 20's. Would I need to change more of my suspension to compensate for those, or would low profile tires be ok.

Fnally, how would the lowering / 20 inch wheels affect performance? Looks aside, performance is most important to me, as I would like lower 0-60 times.

I'm not familiar with the Eibach kit you mentioned. All of the lowered AWD LX cars I've seen used airbags as, at the time, there was nothing else available for the AWD platform.

Hi !

You can lower your AWD with The KW V2 kit including springs and coilovers. They are adjustable in height and in hardness. So you will be able to choose your level of lowering and comfort.

You will loose a little bit in comfort, it's inescapable since you lower your car, but depending on your setup, you can loose not that much.

You can find this kit on ebay for about 1200$.

OR what your can do, is buy just shorter springs, like Eibach make. You will almost not loose nothing in comfort. But I suppose that you will have to replace your stock shocks more often. This solution is the most appropriate for you, I think. And it's cheaper than KW kit.

Make your choice !

You don't have to change nothing in suspension for 20's, because you will put low profile tires like 245/45/20 which are same exterior diameter as the stock 18's.

I'm on 20's and I didn't feel difference in performance. so you can go with 20's easy !
