I just got My Eibach Pro Kit.....Quick Question

I just got my pro kit today, (Thanks Fed-Ex) I was just curious if they will void or complicate my warranty? I have an 2006 C and I kinda dont want to ruin my warranty. I know this is something I should have asked prior to purchasing these, but it just hit me now that I recieved them. So hurry up and help me, I want to slap these things on!!

Void?..no. Complicate? ..possibly. You'll find some specific info here and if you use the site "Search" for 'warranty void' or 'Magnusson-Moss Act' it will yield much detailed info on this subject.... Good luck!

well when i called my dealer they told me that if a suspension item failed b/c of the springs it wouldnt be covered but all other stuff would be. my question is, who determines why an item failed? But the good news is yes you will still have a warranty

According to the Magnusson-Moss Act, the burden of proof is on the dealership if they are denying a claim. You can read the text at the SEMA website, among other places.

Ooops, I appreciate the info, it looks like the only thing Im going to run into is complicating the warranty on the suspension. Im going to just suck it up and go for it. And sorry for the newbie questions, this is my first new car so Im trying to look at everything from different angles. I'll post pics when its done.

No apologies, and we'll look forward to the pics... don't forget to take "before" pics as well.

That's right go for it! Enjoy the Car make it yours. Cause once the warranty is gone and you would have done it after the fact you'll kick your self in the butt for not doing it sooner.
Enjoy!

Sorry for sidetracking, but I am also thinking about Pro Kit for my C, but the local shop told me it would be $500 installation plus the price for springs. Is this a "normal" price? Or should I travel to somewhere? Thank you for your help in advance!

I have the pro kit on my 2006 Limited. I wouldn't do the springs until I had shocks/struts to go with it. My front end feels like a 60's caddy and bottoms out. Felt good for awhile and a few months later it feels really bad. With 4 people in the car and the struts even more compressed it is even worse. The back seems good, but the front end struts are for sure almost useless. You could do the spings now, but you will pay again when the struts need replaced.
