Corky facts regarding Eibachs for 300 and 300C's

Thoght I'd share what I learned today as I've seen this question come up a few times.

The Eibach Pro kit (1.6" drop) will not interchange from the 300 (non hemi) to the 300C.

BUT

The Sportline kit (2" drop) WILL interchange and are the same part number.

Difference is the Sportline kit in the 300 base will sit .2 higher than the 300C application. Esentially making it a 1.8" drop for my 300, which is exactly what I was looking for to avoid that raked look I see in the 1.6/1.5 pro kits.

That said my order has been placed and we'll see in about 7-10 days. Pics to follow.

No, the shop that was doing it lost one of their guys and my appointment got pushed back to a couple of days. I'm trying to schedule an appointment with another place to install it.

just staring at the springs and am tempted to do it myself.

BTW, picked up the springs from a guy on EBay for $210.

As it stands they can't get to my car until this Saturday at 1pm. I just can't trust anyone else to do this install. Especially some know it all 19 y/o from a local import shop.

Sunday I'll snap some pics and let ya'll know.

Just as an fyi, rubbing will be relative to your wheel set up.

I've got a set of Zenetti Heir 22x9.5 265/35 Nitto 420s. 18mm offset. I'm anticipating slight rubbing in the rear with a "full load". And of course a stiffer ride with stock, non adjustable shocks (which will be swapped out in a few short months).

So I finally get my car in for installation. Paid 300 out the door which included alignment.

It wasn't as earth grinding slammed as I was imagining. It actually put the car back to my stock height when I have my 17" stocks on. Handles VERY VERY well. The thing truley feels like it's on rails now. No more body roll.

This vehicle continues to amaze me, out of all the cars I've own, 95% of them with altered/moded suspension this car by far takes the springs very well. And the anxiety is over, no rubbing going over speed bumps, accellerated turns. Doesn't rub anywhere, perfect. And alot smoother than any vehicle I've had lowered. Not bad at all.

But in the looks department, it all but awakened this gorgeous creature. Made all the difference in the world, I think. Best mod so far. Car with the wheels finally looks "rite" and not like some lowered SUV with a chop top.

Along with the springs I also had it tinted 30% and had my pillars, fog light grill covers, side mirrors and hood squirters color matched.
