Great write up zilla.....If you don't mind, I will answer for Hemee:

Front: 1 3/8" (35mm)
Rear: 3/4" (19mm)

If you would measure your SRT8 bars, that would be great! I'm very interested to see what they are.

KWs are probably stock on some high performance cars.

I am thinking of pumping a couple of thousand dollars into suspension upgrades in my SRT8 - which already has a significantly upgraded (over the 300c) factory suspension. The same upgrade of KW VariantII on the 300c - and the Eibachs and Mopars: if they are confimed to be rebranded KWvariantIIs, will put the 300c owner (with lightweight 20"' forged wheels, the Goodyear F1 or RSA tires, and uprated swaybars) at least in SRT8 cornering/slalom ability, and probably a jump ahead of it. Bear in mind the suspension bushings are softer on the 300c, but that should not be a massive detraction.

So Hemeee a question for you - do you have the diameter of the rear Hotchkis sway bar? If you don't I can call them. I can then measure my SRT8 rear bar and hope that the Hotchkis rear is a step up in diameter.

Thanks 'zilla!! Yes I have all the info in my original R&D thread. FYI, the same size sway bars have been tested on, and are now being sold for the SRT8, however I don't have the OEM SRT8 size for comparison:
  • HP Front Sway: Ø 1.375" (Ø 1.056) 30% stiffer than stock 300C
  • HP Rear Sway: Ø .750" (Ø .559) 150% stiffer than stock 300C
NOTE: Hotchkis has also just developed springs for the SRT8 (Part #19105) with the following spring/drop rates:
  • Front: 280 (Stock 228) w/drop 1/8"
  • Rear: 650 (Stock 594) w/drop 5/8"

Hey Mike & 'zilla, I have an inquiry in to Hotchkis asking the SRT8 sizes, as I'm sure they have that info in their R&D info... should hear back from them Monday and will post when I do.

Mike, this thread has taken a very interesting turn that goes much deeper than the thread title reveals (I love this stuff )... do you mind if we rename it? You can PM me with your reply and suggestion if you'd like...

Man, those SRT8 drops by Hotchkiss is miniscule. I guess they're okay as OEM factory-like replacements.

Seems like KW is the only game in town w/adjustable coilovers w/adjustable dampning. We'll see if Mopar can step up.

Sorry, had a lot going on today... yes, Hotchkis states the stock sway bars on the CSRT8 are the same as stock on the C.

I don't think so.

At least according to:

http://www.allpar.com/cars/lx/srt8-chrysler.html

Chassis setup for the Chrysler 300C SRT-8 is aimed at all-around performance with a number of enhancements, including tuned dampers, specially tailored spring rates and suspension bushings and larger-diameter anti-sway bars.

EDIT: WHILE PUTTING THIS TOGETHER - BLIND TO ME - TEAHEAD WAS DOING THE SAME SO IT'S BASICALLY A DUPLICATE OF THE ABOVE POST

I have not been able to measure my swaybars yet: I need to take a special trip to pull my digital caliper from storage (preparation to build new house) and more importantly

I have a health emergency - my wife in long term care has fluid in her lungs - her oxygen uptake levels are dangerously low - at one time the her doctor said survival was 50/50.

I will get to it though in the meantime here is a quote of information supplied to the Allpar.com site by the factory:
