I have another question maybe zilla can comment on. Do you think that the KW Variant 1 would be fine to go w/ instead of the Variant 2? I feel that if I go w/ the Variant 2, I would always be at the shop trying to have them adjust the ride and never be satisfied. Can I trust KW's engineers w/ the way they have set the ride quality on the Variant 1?
The main thing I am looking for is a 1.8-2" drop w/ great ride quality and handling. Plus, I'd love to save a couple hundred a bucks while I'm at it!
EDIT: WHILE PUTTING THIS TOGETHER - BLIND TO ME - TEAHEAD WAS DOING THE SAME SO IT'S BASICALLY A DUPLICATE OF THE ABOVE POST
I have not been able to measure my swaybars yet: I need to take a special trip to pull my digital caliper from storage (preparation to build new house) and more importantly
I have a health emergency - my wife in long term care has fluid in her lungs - her oxygen uptake levels are dangerously low - at one time the her doctor said survival was 50/50.
I will get to it though in the meantime here is a quote of information supplied to the Allpar.com site by the factory:
Zilla
'zilla, sorry to hear about your wife's turn for the worse and my prayers are with you... see my PM
Guys, I just talked with Hotchkis, per my request for confirmation, and I quote:

Linda,
I pulled the stock bars we have here and got the following measurments.
300C & SRT8 are the same:
Front: 1.055 - Rear: 0.593
Charger:
Front: 1.058 - Rear: 0.592
Magnum:
Front: 1.165 - Rear: 0.593
All of the bars are solid. The measurements of the material are slightly different due to tolerances. The Magnum front bar is larger than the rest.

Some how I skipped right over this paragraph, didn't mean to be boorish. I most certainly hope things take a turn for the better with your wife.

Guys, I just talked with Hotchkis, per my request for confirmation, and I quote:
I have to repeat myself again...WOW. It really is hard to believe that that part of the suspension was not upgraded on the SRT8, but Hotchkis' R&D has to be reliable......
Thanks everyone who expressed concern and support about my wife's health, she is slightly improved, though still very ill.
Tonight I stopped off at a friendly local store, borrowed a digital caliper, and crawled under my SRT8 to measure the front and rear sway bars. Bear in mind that this was after dark without much illumination in a parking lot. I reserve the right to edit these numbers if they prove inaccurate when I repeat it in daylight - remember I was fumbling in the dark; like a 16 year old.
The SRT8 front bar measured 1.06" or 27mm
The SRT8 rear bar measured 0.79" or 20mm
I know this is at odds with what Hotchkis say, and I won't speculate why. What we need is another SRT8 owner to caliper their bars to confirm the bar measurements are the same on their car, as they are on mine. If we can get that confirmation I can contribute some more based on confirmed info. PM all SRT8 owners with a request?
Based on the above measurements Hotchkis front bar is way beefier than mine. My SRT8 front appears to be the same diameter as the stock 300c. However my SRT8 rear bar is a slight step up from the Hotchkis rear.
Hotchkis Front Sway: Ø 1.375" or 35mm
Hotchkis Rear Sway: Ø .750" or 19mm
Gets more interesting all the time.
Zilla
