Eibach springs drop and ride quality?

If i lower my 300C with the eibach springs, how much will the springs drop the car? Will there be any rubbing? How is the ride quality with these springs?
I have read that they ride good. I'm from the old school, love my lowered 51 merc.

Jimmy, it will drop the car about 1.5" and the ride won't be affected at all execpt to improve the handling and the looks!! Regards!!! Mike

Jimmy, there are some that have had issues so you might want to search through the "Suspension/Handling Modifications" forum.. It is filled with lots of threads on this subject. There are other options besides Eibach and, because each component of suspension depends on another, the wheel/tire set-up you choose will be a factor as well.

P.S. PLEEEZE post pics of your Merc'!!!

Jimmy, if you get the Pro-Kit, its only a 1 to 1.5" drop and the Sportline-Kit is a 1.7 to 2.3" drop. I opted for the Sportline-Kit and I have 22" X 10" DUB Esenem's on 35 series tires with 0 rubbing problems. If I have passengers in the rear, the bounce is more noticeable, but the normal lowered stance bounce isn't too bad. Just minimal. The shop that installed the springs has a 300 (V6) with the Pro-Kit and you can bearly even tell that it was lowered. I have a pic of our cars together. I will try to post them tomorrow.

lowering you car!

I have the pro Kit and I have the problem with speed bumps even more so when I have passangers in the back. Other than that, you may feel the bump more than before, but the handle is great. Good luck.

I have encountered the pro kit and did not like the bouncy feeling at all so took it out. It handled really well but it wasn't for me.
