Clank/Ding in front end....

Ok, so for the last week or so, I've been noticing a clinging, dinging type noise coming from my front end. Sounds like the springs are creaking or something. I've had my eibachs on for about 11 months w/ about 10k miles on them.

Before I take my car in, does anyone know what this might be?

This is one of those cases where If you installed the prings yourself, you can try and diagnose it yourself , with a buddy by trying to reproduce the noise when the car is standing still by having your buddy compressing the front suspension - carefully pushing down on the bodywork - care now! Listen for the noise. Hopefully that will show which side it is. Then remove the road wheel on that side and examine the spring itself, where the spring seats, and the shocks for signs damage, bottoming-out and breakage.

If you had the springs installed by a shop ask them to check their installation. most do this at no charge.

If it turns out to be a broken spring, and/or, shock you might want to buy the KW coilovers at that point.
