Folks, coupling the outstanding performance and versatility of the KW V2s, and the screaming price Hennessey Performance is offering . . . RUN, DON'T WALK to get a set of these.

Thumbs up KW susp

Dear John H

Just bought 300SRT8 !! - will pick it up Monday.
Would you still offer your year end blow out on the KW Susp ?
Been away from hot rods for 15years - who should install a KW here in Minnesota?

Thanks, John 1/1/06 1252AM CST (Happy New Year !)

Is it me or does 2K seem like a lot for a set of shock/springs? What am I missing with this?

Mine cost $1400 + shipping. Is it worth it? Won't know for sure until its installed and I have a few miles to reflect on. I will say however that the stock suspension is very good IMO therefore any change could disappoint depending on how its adjusted and the car driven. I decided on the KW Varient II precisely because of their reputation, adjustability for driving preference, experience with the similar Mercedes suspensions and opinions of members of this forum who appear to have tried every manufacturer at some time in their lives and choose KW over the rest. Fatchance installed the eiback springs and now has KW's and has indicated the change was positive. I firmly believe the performance of the product is primary and price secondary. I've gotten bargains (price wise) but hated the product afterwards; paid way to much and been thrilled with the result. Which was worth it?
Yes it seems like a lot, but those in the know believe its a huge bargain. I'm finding out soon.

If John isn't replying to a email he has some reason, he usually is Very Quick, first thing in the morning he's all over my emails. I'd say call the shop and ask for Jennifer. She knows the deal and can help you. FYi, ya gotta have COD/Cashiers Ck.

Oh and if Koni made shocks and struts i'd definitely go with Koni Yellow adj- comp & rebound plus being Coil Over on 4 corners. Had a Griggs Racing GR40 setup with that combo, worked like Velcro to the Pavement, once tires were warm. Can't wait to Track Day this SRT8 then i'll know how well the V-2's perform. Stock has Way too much movement on elevation changes to remain stable. that's where this rebound adjustment will come in very handy, just hope it's simple like Koni's to adjust from street to track, mine will be here the 7th. Now i'm thinking of the Anti Roll bars as well.
