I think we all need an expert to comment about this question about KW's VII

I wanted to pose this question (or re-pose from MikeW) about what is the ideal settings for the KW Variant II. I am very close to purchasing them but worried that I will not install the correct settings to maximize the quality of the ride. Where I live there are no good suspension shops, therefore, I would rather get that info from someone who has "been there done that" on here and tell whomever puts them on what specs I want.

I know you can adjust the ride height and damper, but maybe there is more. I hear about this black knob (probably damper), but where should it be set at? Does the KW's come out he box already set perfectly? I have heard such great things about them but worried now since MikeW came on saying the ride quality is not much better than the Eibachs. That is definitely what I and probably everybody else doesn't want to here. Maybe it was because he hasn't done the alignment yet. I hope someone who has made the proper adjustments can let us all know the proper specs as well as if MikeW ride quality improve after the alignment.

Thanks to all that help.

I too want a good starting point. I'm considering doing the install myself because I don't know who to trust. Here everyone is a self proclaimed expert but even recommended tallers have done bad work for me. Here the most dilapidated, unprofessional looking shops frequently are the best but finding them is a crap shoot. Only once have I not had to redo a repair I paid for, and the dealer is no better. My KW suspension should arrive monday. Lets hear from the pioneers. Tell us what you have discovered. Pretty please with a cherry on top.
