KW V2 impressions and settings

Today, I took the car into the dealership for applying the right drift correction to the car and was informed that they would need to purchase two control arms @ $350 each to enable this to happen and that the arms currently in place on my 2006 AWD would not allow them to adjust the suspension. Do any of you guys have your stock SRT8 coils for sale. I am looking for some to slightly lower my SRTD?

yes, we do have coils for the SRT8 that are compatible with your Nivomats.

Here is our drop springs for the Nivomat shocks

Nos these will drop the vehicle. We haved other springs available, including a stock height rear perfformance SRT8 spring, but it will require replacing the shocks. We will also have a stock SRT8 front performance spring in about 6-8 weeks

nobody talks about the mopar sway bars. not as good?

I ask because I have mopar coil overs.

The Mopar coilover are made by KW (same as the V1) and the sways are more than likely Eibach or Hotchkis. Mopar then adds a few $$ on top for renameing them

Running through Chrysler does bring a level of support at the Dealerships for these products...

Stay tuned, there will be a KW slightly used coilover set coming up for sale soon as the owner is converting to Pedders.

You have to swap out the shocks in the rear too not just the coils. You have self leveling shocks back there that are a complete pita.

I used the KWv2 setup. I will do some looking around. I have club members swapping out their SRT8 stuff for upgrades.

Hey guys. I had the KW V2's and Hotchkis sways installed about a year ago and I really love them. It made the ride so much more responsive and comfortable and the handling was 10 fold better. It also corrected the bump steer problem. Now a year later I am noticing that it is starting to react when hitting bumps again, the steering wheel wants to jerk when I hit bumps on the highway and the over all handling fells a little loose. I have more body roll in the corners then I did a year ago. What do you think the cause of this is? Do I need to have anything re tourqed or do you think something might have failed? I'm running 22's with about a 1 1/2 inch drop and a 1/2 rake. Alignment is dead on with 0 degree camber. It has a slight pull which I'm sure is due to the craddle but its not bad at all. Any suggestions would be great, thanks!

Check all your damper settings/knobs. Try tightening up the rebound. Example, if your front dampers are open 1 full turn, try closing them to 1/2 turn open. I have around 20k miles on my KWv2's and the ride is a little more "looser" and not as tight and controlled as it was when they were new. Unfortunately I have my front dampers open 1/2 turn and rears 3/4 of a turn, so I don't have much room to tighten the ride further.

Also, tires may be a factor. As tires get older the ride begins to get sloppy.
