Can the SRT8 springs be used on the 300C? The Mopar springs offer more drop than I want. The SRT8 is 5.1 inches off the ground and that is enough for me.
Kev, don't know the answer to your ? about the SRT springs, but my C was the test mule for Hotchkis Performance R&D on springs and swaybars. Their springs are rated at 1.25" but mine was a 1" drop in front and .78" rear... looks and drives great, IMO. Pics and info here

I am certain that the front SRT8 springs will be no problem.
The rears may not be correctly spring-rated. The reason for this is that the Nivomat shocks used in the SRT8 have a built in spring function, operated by the mechanical pumping of the shock.
Rate of rear SRT8 springs + added spring rate of Nivomat = Total rear spring rate of SRT8.
Take away the added spring rate of the Nivomats - which the stock 300c does not have, and your spring rate of the SRT8 springs alone is too low.
Edit Some duplication when I started typing Hemeee's answer was not there

Thanks. Linda have you measured since the car has probably settled down now and the springs fully seated? May be something to do once you have had them for many months and miles.

Kev, the springs were installed in August and we re-measured again in Nov... no appreciable change. If there was one, you'd need a micrometer to gauge it.
If you'd like, I'll measure again next month, which will mark 6 mos. since install... just post a reminder.

Thanks, any help is appreciated. But it looks like the Hotchkis has the lowest advertised drop.

What if I also upgraded to the SRT dampers also? Are the front and rear shocks a direct bolt-on replacement?

No problem, however if I was in your position and was considering that move
I would go for the coil over solution: KW Variant 2s (V2) I feel they would give you a performance edge over the stock SRT8 setup. You can set both ride height. and rebound damping to your exact liking. Lots of threads discussing the KW coilovers.
On the other hand if load-levelling is a needed feature because you carry heavy loads in your Magnum then the SRT8 rear shocks have that feature.
