Cool 300C AWD lowered w/Eibach Springs

Greetings,

Well I got back into town last night from Texas and my new set of Eibach Springs
(2879.140) were sitting on my porch. I wasted no time installing them first thing this morning. Many thanks to whom ever it was that shared out that LX service manual. It worked like a champ; very straight-forward install.

And oh yeah, the ride is looking sweet. It is not raked as I dreaded/expected it to be. I'm going to retorque all the bolts under load tomorrow as the instructions suggested. I'm happy with the overall ride height as is but I expect it will come down a little more as the springs seat.

As soon as I can get "Hemeee" to show me how to post pictures in this forum, I'll let you get a visual. A picture is worth a thousand words.

I just got mine back yesterday after having it lowered with the #2879.140 Eibach springs and I must say I am very impressed with the ride height now. These should be stock on all AWD's!

Here's how my AWD looks now....

The price was $253 from tirerack.com. I installed them myself.

The Ride looks great 300onDueces. I'm looking into getting the Eibach Springs for my AWD 300C. Can anyone tell me if I'd need to make some suspension adjustments in order to put on 22's?? I was looking into putting TIS02's. As of right now I know I can put 20's on it without any problems.

Thanks for the props.

You don't have to make any suspension adjustments in order to make the 22s fit. Just don't go bigger than 265/35/22 on the tires and make sure your wheels have the right offset.

The AWD models have a high positive offset. My wheels are a +40mm offset. If you use the wheels with offsets designed for a RWD model they will stick out and you will have problems with rubbing.

You may also want to buy a Superchips Flashpaq to re-calibrate your speedometer for the larger wheels. Mine was off +7mph@70mph
