Just trying them out when I first put them on I got on the highway and here getting on the highway is a loop I could go 60 and not feel like the car was about to tip over. Before I usually only went about 40 and that was pushing it cause it literall felt like the car was going to roll over on its side. I have 255/45/R20's. I had them on the car before I put the springs on and going around those loops to get on the highway I could hear and feel the tires coming off the ground. Now it feels great!!!

Superchip can add up to 25hp and improve gas mileage but from what I understand its one or the other. You have to use 89 or better octane for preformance and if you want a slight preformance increase but better gas mileage you use 87. Thats what I get out of reading the info about the jet chips.

XXXcelent reply lukeinva! gr8 info... i will use it wisely... there's no stopping me from getting superchips now... and, i'll just use the 87 for mpg, and when i know that my buddies want to race, i'll set it up performance style...

they have all put catbacks on their rides or magnaflows and various other mods... i raced one of them, who has a mustang done up... an old one.. and killed him then, we ran out of track, well, i did to exit onto another interchange and then, he comes roaring by me... so, he's not giving me the win even tho i was in front of him 90% of the race... anyway, he wants a rematch, and i know he'll be ready, and i'm not putting my stock against his computerized cobra till i have a couple mods done...

Oh, I thought your were just being sociable!

No HP changes that I can tell.
EVIC MPG dropped about 1/2mpg due to the taller 255/45 tires. Real gas mileage has also dropped slightly, from around 15mpg to about 14.7mpg. My only guess is the wider tires might be creating a little rolling drag.
Sway bars didn't help much at all.
KW's are a little stiffer than stock suspension, but the handling is incredible.
I have played around with the dampeners, from almost full hard to full soft, and there is not much difference. You cannot soften the ride much with the dampeners. So that was a disappointment. The good thing about the KW's is the rebound/bounce factor has been reduced a lot. My wife said she isn't getting tossed out of her seat now, when driving over humps/bumps.
The bounce is quicker and shorter with the KW's, which is good.

One thing I wasn't after was lowering my car. But that is now the best thing that came out of the KW's. The car looks so much better lowered 1.5". After 3 weeks of driving I havn't had any problems with the 1.5" drop, except backing out of my driveway. I just go real slow and angle hard.

I am assuming that you are talking about the Superchips Flashpaq. I get BETTER mileage with the 91 tune. So much better that even with 25 cent spread, it is CHEAPER for me to run 91. Better mileage, better performance, and tranny 'puter changes are worth the mod alone (IMHO).

Well thats good! Everyone I have talked to and from what I read said 91 for preformance and 87 for gas mileage. I dont have one I will be getting one in a couple months, thats good to know though that you can actually get better mileage and preformance from the 91 with the chip!

Far from getting better mileage with the 91 tune on the Flashpaq, I've seen mine drop 20% (from 15.5 to about 12 to 13). I'm not driving more aggressively - this is in day-to-day commuting, which means trundling along in traffic. The culprit, I think, is that the Flashpaq just WON'T upshift. I am not enjoying this nearly as much as I wish - the tranny regularly runs along a good 2000 RPM higher than it used to. What I want is a program that shifts normally with light throttle use, such as around suburban neighborhoods and while cruising, but changes to a more aggressive mode when the throttle position goes above 50%. It's silly to cruise at 45 using 8% of the throttle, while the damn transmission sits 2 gears low in case I might get a wild hair and stomp on it. I find myself using the cruise control far more than I'd like to, simply because turning it on makes the transmission upshift.
