Eibach Pro Kit questions.

I picked up my Eibach Pro kit yesterday # 2873140. This is for my 2006 300C RWD. After we took the stock rear springs out and put them next to the new Eibachs, they did not look any shorter. The coils seem to be wound a little tighter and that was it. The fronts you could tell were shorter.

Now that I have them in the car the rear did not drop very much from stock and nothing like the front. Will the rear settle down like the front? I hope so as the specs show for the 300C it is supposed to lower it 1.6" both front and rear. I put the stock wheels and tires in the back along with the factory springs and am going to go drive around to see if the weight helps it settle.

Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks

This is the problem with the Eibach springs. They leave a 1" rake to the car which looks awful. The car will always be higher in the rear. You can cut 3/4 of a coil off the rear to lower it. I don't understand why people continue to buy this product. There must be a 100+ post on how crappy these springs are and the end result of the look. I removed mine almost a year ago after having them on for about 6 months.

Several of our supporting vendors sell the KW V2 suspension set up.

Hennessey Performance
HHP Racing
Creative Autowerks

There are 2 kinds of KW's the V1's which only allow you to change the height/drop of the car.

The V2's allow you to change the height/drop and also the rebound.

For a few hundred dollars more you get the V2's. Highly recomended.

The KW system is the hands down winner for the LX models. If you don't beleive me, then why does the Chrysler and Dodge race cars all come equipped with the KW system. The KW is hard to read from my picture, so I circled it in blue.
