Does my car looked lowered?

I just bought my 2006 300 3.5 liter, last week. I have 22 inch panther wheels and 265/35/22 Pirelli scopions. I have seen several cars on cardomain and they don't look as low as mine... I bought the car used so I have no idea. wheel gap is very little.. about 1 inch and I get very minor fender rub when turning a corner into a parking lot etc.. it barely touches the flat spot under the fender and slightly bends it. I'm not sure what a normal car has for clearance under the wheel wells. If anyone knows what the height fron ground to center of front fender should be, I'd apprecate it.

Looks lowered.
The pic doesn't show the wheel wells very clearly.
Below were my measurements from ground to top of wheel well/fender before I lowered my car.

30 1/2"---30 1/2"
31 1/8"---31 0/0"

From top of wheel well/fender to center of hub
17 1/8"---17 1/8"
17 3/8"---17 1/4"

My measurements might be slightly higher than stock 18" because I have 255/45/20 tires/rims.

here is a picture that shows the wheel well better. Also, you can see in the picture where the tire has bumped the well and left a ding. I am going to add some stainless fender trim when I resolve the rubbing issues to cover up the damage, but want to cure the problem first.

Someone with 22" with 265/35/22's should be able to help better.

265/35/22's have a diameter of 29.3".

Stock 225/60/18 are 28.6", and 215/65/17 are 28.0"
So your tires are quit a bit taller, which might be the reason the car looks lowered.
I believe there are a lot of folks with 265/35/22's, so maybe you have an offset issue. Do you know the wheel offset?

I found your rim on Ebay and it says the offset is 20mm.

Maybe your rim needs to have a lower offset, such as 15mm to 18mm. I believe the acceptable offset range for the 300 is 15mm to 22mm.
I would take the car back to the dealer.

Dealer doesn't want to mess with it. They were so helpful before the sale, now they say, if they wont work we will let you pick out a set of 20 inch wheels on a car we have on the lot and trade them out(I think there are 2 to choose from). There is a small spacer on the front wheels too(about 1/4 inch), so I may go to the tire store tomarrow and see if that could be a issue with the rubbing. Thanks for your help though! much appreciated.

Yeah, defenetly lowered. Here is a picture of my car with 22"s before I lowered it.

Well actually, I thought I had a better picture then this one but you can kind of see that the well space is atleast a couple inches.
