loud click after v2 install?

After installing v2 coilovers on my 06 csrt8 I am now getting a loud click/pop when turning the wheels and going over a slight bump. Would like any thoughts. If I am sitting flat , stopped and turning back and forth it wont make the noise. I put it back on the lift and everything is tight. It is only coming from the right front?????

Also experienced loud click after KW V2 install on 300C. The clicking sound occurs for about 30 minutes in the morning and then goes away. By the time I got to the installer, the tech could not duplicate the problem after driving thru bumpy roads for half hour.

The second day, I had the same experience. Thirty minutes of clicking and then the sound when away. From the third day forward, the 300C is quiet and no more clicking sounds --coilovers break in period ?? Been driving with the KW2 for 4 weeks.

Emailed KW North America tech support and they said it was the first time they heard about this and suggested I bring the car to a KW Dealer/Installer to check for proper installation. I have not done this as the car is driving fine now.

Hope this helps.

Make sure the the bottom bolt to the shock is really really tight. If you thing it is tight check again. The problem is, the sleeve thru the shock that the bolt goes threw is slightly larger then the bolt and can work up and down causing the clicking sound. I had the same thing until I checked again and tightened them again and it went away. Hope this helps.

I am not getting a clicking sound, but more of an occasional clunk when making hard right turns while braking.
I also have a problem with the left front coilover where 1 3/4 inches of thread are showing, but only 1" on the right side. I described the problem in this thread.
KW problem or not?

Recently I had a suspension shop visually inspect the coilovers and they didn't see any problems.
I have talked to KW several times and sent them a bunch of pics and they don't know why the left coilover is out-of-whack with the right side.

Thanks for the info, I check the bottom bolt and let you know if that was it.

Same problem here....Figured a bump was in order...I did check all bolts (including the lower shock bolt) and all is tight...any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just posted this on the other KW problem thread.

Call KW at 1-559-875-0222 and talk to their tech support guys.
If they can't solve the problem they will likely ask you to take your car to a KW dealer. See this link. http://www.kw-suspension.com/en/60_D..._USA/index.php
If you are lucky to live near a KW dealer you should be able to get them to help.
