I took my 300 basic to local shop to change spring, and they installed a eibach pro-kit (2873.140). The results was; front was dropped, but rear was not!!! I thought beacause of self-leveling shock for rear. Anyway I was watching the Eibach web site part application and noticed my car should have pro-kit (2871.140) not a 2873.140 (for 300c). Anyway do you think because of this mistake my car was not dropped? Please help me anybody!!!!
I know when I put the eibach pro kit on my 300c the rear did not come down either. There is a guy here in town that had them installed on his v-6 300 and the rear came down and looks great. I would make them put the right ones on and see if that makes a difference. Good luck.

There is a donut-like rubber spacer that is either supposed to be removed from above or below the spring or retained but made to lie flush, not cocked (this is from memory from a thread read long ago, so the details are fuzzy). Apparently your shop failed to either remove the rear ones or insure they are sitting level (seems like the rubber spacer donuts were approx. an inch and a quarter to an inch and a half thick).
The new springs are shorter. Therefore the only reason the rear isn't sitting lower has to be that something is adding effective height/length to your new springs.
Review the installation instructions. You should find mention of what I'm referring to. Then post here specifically what the issue is for everyone's edification.

I think the installation calls for cutting the rubber. You also have to take into consideration that the Pro Kit advertises an even 1.6" drop all the way around. At least my C has a stock rake that sits the rear higher than the front. With the springs and 22s I can see that rake more prominently being my rear still sits higher than the front. But it was indeed dropped.

Hi,
According to the Eibach website, the 2871.140 is the kit for the 300C 3.5 V6 model. The 2873.140 is the kit for the 300C 5.7 HEMI model.
Cheers,
DC300C
