I run 22's and have lowered my C with the Goldline lowering springs. They lower the car about 1 1/2 inches. The ride is nice and no real rubbing issues. You just gotta watch when your turning that you dont hit a big bump or you'll touch the fender.

I was in the same boat as you I didn't like the fender gap, but did not want to lower the car too much and screw up the ride. The springs come with instructions, but they seemed a bit confusing to me and they also stated you would need atleast 3 special type tools to complete the job. I decided to take it to the shop and have them do it for $250.00. Well needless to say the guy who put the springs in did it in less that two hours and did not use any special tools, with the exception of the spring compressor. It was literally about 5 bolts some jiggling and the strut/shock was out! It looked very easy to do, but of course it is probably easier said than done!, But if I ever had to put my old springs back on, I feel I defenitley could do it myself, no problem! The front lowered the car a little over an inch, but it looks great and there is no rubbing or bottoming out thus far! as for the back well, I'm a little disappointed! the back did not seem to drop that much, definitley not an inch! I know the car is made to be lower in the front than the back but I feel the back is still a little too high. I have read on other sites that the springs will settle in and lower with time, Lets hope so! But needless to say the car overall still looks a lot better than stock. The ride is suprisingly smooth. The lowering kit made the ride a tad bit stiffer, but some how it actually feels better and the car no longer rolls when turning and you feel connected to the street. Trust me my biggest concern with 22's and lowering it was the ride quality, but I can tell you I am not disappointed! for a car with 22" wheels and lowered, this car still rides pretty damn smooth.......In a nut shell, no regrets with the rims or lowering kit. Oh by the way you will have to get an alignment on all 4 wheels after the car is lowered. Make sure that the shop you go to can align 22" wheels, It cost me another $80.00 but it is needed. I ordered my springs from AUTOTRUCKTOY.COM ($250.00 plus shipping came out to $275.00) but since they are OEM MOPAR parts you may be able to just go to your Chrylser dealer and order them from them instead. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the descriptive response to my questions. It seem like you are the only person on this forum with these springs. Your response makes me feel much better about going with the Mopar Springs. Can you post some PIX of your ride from a few angles; I would love to see the stance now that it is lowered.

Thanks,
MC
