After waiting a long three weeks for my Hotchkis springs and sway bars from T Byrne, I finally received them. I had my local shop install them the day after they arrived. I think they totally gouged me on the installation cost. They charged me $800 for the installation and a four wheel alignment. They said they had to drop the whole rear suspension to install the rear sway bar. What do you all think about the cost?
Besides the slow service from the distributor and the raping from the shop, I am extremely happy with the kit. It handles like a champ The car does not wander anymore, it does not skip when it hits rough road surfaces, and there is no body lean. I still have the crappy factory Continentals, and the car still rides as good as the Mercedes that Chrysler stole the suspension from. The ride is a little rougher at first but it seems to have gotten better (or I just got used to it). The lowered stance of the car makes such a difference in the look of the car. It makes the car look bad ass, particularly in the front. The factory rake is still the same rate from back to front. For anyone who is looking to improve the handling of the car, I would highly recommend this kit, especially if you can install it yourself. If you install it yourself, you can get everything for around $750, including the four wheel alignment.

The 300 looks soooooo much better lowered. I lowered mine with KW's and I fell in love again. And the ride and handling is icing on the cake.
Regarding the cost of the install. I think you were charged too much.
I first put on Hotchkis sways, which cost me around $275 at my high price local Chrysler dealer. Later I put on the KW's and it cost me $400 to get them installed at an alignment shop, and $100 for the alignment. So total of $775 for everything. But you should have paid less because there should have been some time savings combining the sways and coils install together. But so what if they charged you $100 to $200 bucks too much, as long as you are happy with their work. $100-$200 is small potatoes compared to the cost of other mods, and the cost of the car.
Here is a quick picture I snapped while it was in the garage. I will post some more pictures after this weekend when I get it washed.
The new stance looks good and the garage isn't bad either. Very clean! Sorry for the delay with your order. Hotchkis was running behind in production so that delayed some part numbers from coming into us.

Just picked mine up today. $ 825.00 I had the KWV2's and the Hotchkiss sways installed. They do have to drop the rear end cradle to do the sways, which adds hours to the job. Factory rake but 1" drop.
It was well worth it though Ride is incredible. I'm running on Goodyear F1 supercar 245/45 ZR 20's aqnd 20 x 9 rims
