Wandering 300C

Hello,
Cool forum here. This is my very first scenario.
Since day one my 300C seems to follow the crown of the road. It has been to the dealer (their alignment equipment is not up to date) several times and they now recognize the drift. It generally pulls to right as the crown on the road usually slopes in that direction. Have driven another new 300C since to compare and it feels much more neutral. What's up with that?

Welcome Stephen from our 300Cs in WV! The "pull to the right" has been a common problem, particularly in early build '05 models. There is a Technical Service Bulletin about it, and IIRC alignment isn't the final answer. It has something to do with the cradle position of the engine mounts. I will try to find some info through search and edit this post with whatever info I find.

Fortunately we haven't had the issue with either of our 300Cs.

Welcome aboard. There's lots of help here.

Here's the first of a few... ? on pull to the right

Long thread about Right Drift Corrected

ResumeSpeed's list of All TSBs. You have to search down through this list to find specifics. I'm not sure which particular number may be the "final" answer to the early build issue.

Good Luck.

When I had the stock Conti self sealers my car would wander on freeways. It would drift left and right and would not track in a straight line. Once I got rid of the Conti's the wandering stopped.

I also had the right pull/drift, which was fixed with an alignment. But after I switched to 20" rims, my car once again has a right pull/drift. I have had several alignments and the car continues to pull/drift to the right. So the saga continues.
