Hey everyone, I have a 2006 300C and installed my Eibach springs with 22 inch rims and realized that my front is lower then my rear. (about 1-1.5 inches) Does anyone know if this is a common problem or if there is a solution other then cutting the springs. Would King Springs be a better option ? ? ?
ya unfortunately, thats how eibach made the pro-kit..there would be no other solution unless you cut the rears..half a coil would be fine..ive never heard of king springs
Yes it is a common accurence! Did you trim you rear bumpstops? Which eibach kit do you have?? I have the sportsline and it took about 2 weeks for the back to settle down now the car is level. Not only looks great but drives great also!

Do not cut the springs. On one of my cars I had when I was 17, I had some eibachs put on and I didnt think it was low enough (I never let the springs settle, had them cut them the day after). It bounced uncontrollably everywhere, and then I was on the highway and the b/c the springs were cut, the passenger side front spring popped out, and my car slammed right to the gorund and completely sliced right thru the wheel. Not a fun experience.
i lowered mine and the same thing happened, the car look a bit strange, finally worked it out, it was because the Australia Spec 300c comes with the "Self Leveling" Shocks, simple fix was i ordered the stock U.S spec shocks, all fixed now as you can see
