Squeaking Noise when going slow....

For the last week or so, when I leave my house in the morning, I hear a high pitched squeaking noise coming from the front end . The squeak is hard to pinpoint b/c the noise is not consistent w/ the turn of the wheels or the movement of the suspension. Has anyone else experienced this? I can only hear the noise when I'm going slow through the neighborhood. Once I hit the highway, the noise is gone until the next morning.

I would have just driven up to the dealership, but I know that the first thing they are going to do is point at the 22s and/or the KWs and say, "bla bla bla."

Thanks in advance for any feedback!!!

brakes? Many times I have went crazy trying to pinpoint noises and brakes seem to be most of the issues. last 3 months I was going crazy trying to pinpoint a suspension noise on my 2002 z28, after 2 hours at the shop and tightening every single bolt on the car it was the rear panhard bar. slower speed noises have always been brakes on my cars, either warped rotor, bad piston in the caliper and sticking, or just plain worn to the warning squeaker.

I appreciate the feedback. I think I'm just going to take her in. I have some TSBs that need to get fixed anyways.

I know what a squeeky belt sounds like and I'm pretty sure that's not it. It sounds more like a metal on metal sound mixed w/ the sound of 2 peeps doin the nasty on an old squeeky mattress.

I'm having the same issue; noise that sounds like rubber on metal (like dry suspension parts) but no correlation to car speed or suspension movement.

I put the car up on ramps, and crawled underneath. I pulled and pushed on everything I could pull or push on. What I found is the large plastic bladder on the passenger side just under the rear seat will squeak if I push on it. Seems like there is an internal baffle that came loose (just a guess, not really sure).

I'm assuming that this is the gas tank.

It's on the list for the next dealer visit.

Hmm, I'll have to take a look at it Saturday. That's the soonest I can dismantle the whip. I sure hope you are right! And thanks a million for pointing me in a direction.

Are these clips only on the calipers in the front? Have you seen anyone post a pic of this anywhere?
