Well I took it to another dealership and they confirmed for me that the tires were in fact worn the wrong way. They said I had to go back to where I bought the car. I went back with the proof and after a few words, the ower and service manager agreed to order me a brand new set of GoodYear Assurance tires! Its funny how a little blackmail gets things done...

I finally got them to change my tires to Goodyears. And the damn thing still vibrates. The service manager even said that the vibration could have been caused from my air intake not being installed properly . Anyway, I took it to my tire shop and they balanced my wheels, my alignment was good. What are those clips one of the guys higher up in the thread were talking about? This will be 7 times, yes 7 times I take it in for my tires and the third time about my auto up feature working intermittently on the driver's side window. I love my car, but that vibration is anoying. FYI, it vibrates when I got EXACTLY 100km/h (approx 60MPH) on the freeway, it I go 10 km/h more or less, it goes away. In the city, I don't feel a thing. Any other ideas anyone might have? Anyone else experience vibration at that speed? I'm about to myself!!!

MTL300C...I hate to see a fellow AWDr suffer the way you have! It sounds to me that your dealer is not the sharpest knife in the drawer! I doubt I am telling anything you haven't thought of yourself but it seems that there are a limited number of reasons that would cause this vibration of yours (excluding an air intake) and by the process of elimination your dealer could find it in short order! Not having this particular experience myself I am afraid I cannot be of much help other than suggesting you try a different dealer.

If it's only around 60mph (and check also around 35-40 which was common for some people) the vibration might be exhaust related. It might be an MDS issue (causing exhaust resonance/vibrations). I believe there's a tsb on this issue. Might not be it, but won't hurt to check it out.
Either your rims have a slight bend/warp in them or you're just the unluckiest AWD member on the forum when it comes to balancing. With the new tires, proper mounting and weight placement, your car should be running very smooth at 60. If your rims are damaged the only other way outside of replacing them would be to get a "true balance". True balancing requires balancing the tires on your car and they pretty much shave a bit of thread off. Downside to doing this--you can't rotate your tires, you lose some precious thread and YOU NEVER FIX THE INITIAL PROBLEM. I had this done on my 2000 Stang when I purchased a rim set that required I use spacers and I could never get the tires to not shake at 60. After getting my tires trued and balanced...car was so smooth at 100mph..I felt the need to continue to accelerate lol GOODLUCK!
Well I took it back to them and another mechanic came with me on the road test. He said that he will personally check it with another mechanic. He promised that after he's done with it that the problem will be solved. I'm dropping it off tomorrow and I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

OK, so the dealer basically told me to go f*** myself! The mechanic took it on the road with me and said that there's nothing wrong and that HE HAS SEEN WORSE! The balls this guy had. So he told that to the service manager and the service manager called some jackass at DaimlerChrysler, told him what he thought, SUPPOSEDLY the guy came and roadtested the car and came to the same conclusion that the car was within spec. Meanwhile, I just came back from a trip to NY and guess what, its still visibly vibrating. I love my car but these guys are driving me INSANE. What can I do? I want to get rid of this vibration problem. BTW, they also said its might be normal for AWD's to vibrate. GRRRR!!!!!
