Need help with KWv1 install..fast!

I ended up getting the Eibach coilover, which is the same as the KWv1. I went to a local shop I normally use to install suspension parts and the normal installer wasn't there. After they took the rear shock, then the spring off(is the Eibach pro kit springs) and the rubber piece that goes between the spring and the body. the guy tried to put the rubber piece over the adjustable metal part that comes with the coilovers and said the rubber piece doesn't fit(is doesn't fit in the hole). I looked in the Eibach manual and it said it isn't used, but the description isn't very good. I want to be sure, because sometimes on suspension items there is no return after install. I'm also not sure if a different rubber boot piece is used with the Eibach pro kit since I bought the car used. I am supposed to go back at 8a.m in the morning, so need some info quick. thanks in advance

I looked on the KW site and everything is mainly in german, I just want to be prepared when I go to the place in the a.m. Looking at some pictures, Does the ajustable piece for the rear springs go on the bottom or top? If it goes on the bottom, it would explain why it wouldn't fit.

The dust boot won't fit. it can be trimmed but is not needed from what I've read.

Today, had the coilovers put on and all is good. amazing difference from how it was... Ride is firm, no float and just what I was looking for. Shop told me to drive a few weeks on them and come back for adjustments on height. Install price was pretty good at 2 1/2 hours standard shop labor charge. They looked over the stock shocks/struts and said they were still great, but with the settling of the springs it was beyond the working limits of the stock ones.
