lowaired...I like your thoroughness! I have yet to install my KW's. They are sitting in my garage. I wanted to drive a little on the ice & snow with my Eibach's first. I can give you my impressions of the Eibach's that I had installed over my stock springs. I would hope that nobody with an AWD makes my same mistake but it may help 2WD'rs who can only afford the springs first and upgrade the dampeners when they can afford it even though they will have to pull the springs twice.

ProKit Step 1 for AWD:
-1 1/2" drop = looks great = 10
-Rake = is same = 5
-Handling = much improved from stock while the dampeners last = 8
-Under steer on bumps = haven't noticed under steer but surprisingly smooth over bumpy ice/snow roads with the stock conti's back on = 5
-overall ride quality = much more stable at high speeds/cornering and a little harsher over bumps = 8
-Price = just the springs are cheap but when you factor in the reinstall of the Eibach dampeners on the 2WD or the replacement of both the springs and dampeners on the AWD it is expensive = 3
-Tech Support = ?
-Longevity = springs for the life of the car, stock dampeners 6 months = 0
-Ease to install = on an AWD is a pain for any manufacture = 5
-Tire fitments = with the AWD there is a lot of room for tires but not a lot of wheels/tires available = 5
-Fender roll - depending on the wheels/tires probably not necessary - 5

These ratings are based on improvement from stock not a comparison to any other aftermarket spring set.

My overall impression of lowering springs is that they improve the handling and stability at high speed but need to be accompanied by replacing the stock tires as well.

Good luck in your selection process.

Here are a few threads concerning your topic….including one of your own threads from the end of last month. Just in case you don’t get many responses there are tons of pics and comments on lowered rides…..it would be nice to have a central area for such as many members inquire. Good luck!

Here's a pic of my new mopar lowering springs I installed with the help of a friend this weekend:

It actually rides great!!!!

I have no more "bouncy waves" with road dips....

It handles alot better...

Looks unreal....

It is just a tad stiffer, but I like it better than the stock suspension....it handles very similar to the srt I test drove......

It does have a little bump steer, but nothing of concern to me....very easy to manage, it is not all over the place...

I improvised on the mopar install directions.....Our way was MUCH easier for the front where you dont have to take apart the spindle, etc....PM me for those that want details....

300C AWD w/ KW V2s

Below are some pics of my 300C AWD lowered with the v2.

Look- 9
Rake -7
Handling-10
UUB- 8
Ride-8
Price-6
Tech Support ?
Longevity ? (only been 6 mos)
Install - 4 PIA
Tire Fit- 9
Fender clearance-7 (For the AWD you have to set it on the Highest setting to get enough clearance.

Overall impression with the right tires it makes a tremendous difference in handling. Ride is stiffer even on the softest setting.
