mopar lowering spring impressions

I have added the mopar lowering springs and LOVE EM.....

They are much more responsive now.....

Handle turns better...

Its not a "wave machine" in the dips anymore....

I have no rubbing with full turns in FWD or REV with the 22's.....

I had no bottoming out going over gigantic speed bumps at the grocery store.....

The ride is nowhere near as harsh as I thought it would be!!!! I remember what my lowered S10 was like and it was kidney jarring!!!!!

It has the same ride quality as what I remember the srt drove like in a test drive a few months ago....

I highly recommend this kit for those that are contemplating springs....

Here is a pic of the drop:

For those that do this and plan on installing the kit yourself.....PM me for details....

My friend and I did it different than the supplied instructions for the front.....

There is NO need to take the top linkage and top A-arm from the spindle apart and risk damaging the rubber boot.....

All you have to do is take the calipers off, use a pry bar to lower the lower control arm and the shock will slide right out!!!!!

The whole thing took about 3 to 4 hours with many breaks!!!!!

I will keep everyone updated on the life of the shocks with this kit VS the life expectency of the Eibach kit........

BTW, I purchased the springs for around 230ish shipped from Ted at moparsupercenter, a supporting vendor here....

He was very helpful with the purchase over the phone and shipped them extremely quick...

I highly recommend them for all mopar purchases!!!!!

Looking real nice.

If these are like most springs, just keep you eye on the front driver side fender after a few months. Depending on the amount of drop, when the springs begin to weaken a bit and settle in, the amount of travel will increase a little. In my case it was just enough to start the left front fender to bottom out on the front wheel.

Not too bad, but I just had to take it easy on some of the known dips in my normal route of travel.

I was looking into having the fenders roll but never did it yet. Still will do this one day. May even get the professional tool and do a few local cars.

Looks great dude. I am contemplating lowering my 300C with Mopars as well but i have 20s not 22s. I assume that would give me better clearance. Any thoughts?
Thanks

The clearance will depend on your tire size. You could have a 20" rim & tire set up with an overall diameter that is larger than a 22" wheel combo. The side walls determined by your tire size will play a factor in the clearence.

This is why I went with the mopar springs.....

I figured in the break-in sag and currently there is enough room for it to settle.

It is a more mild drop of about 1" compared to the eibach etc at 1 1/4" and more.....

Congrats with the Mopar springs. It really makes your ride look fantastic. Thanks for sharing your review as I’m sure others will want to buy them now that they can see how nice they look on your fine ride.
