I'm having a bit of issues with my Eibach Kit. The kit has gotten so low I am nearly tucking wheels front and back. I live in East Los Angeles where the streets arent the greatest, and can say after about 15k miles these things have definitely gotten a LOT lower.

I am ditching the kit and going with a Coilover kit. My kidneys are sick of being bounced around.

A large number of the members over on LX Forums hit 12 to 18 months on their Eibachs a few months back. By that time a very high percentage of them had trashed the stock shocks (the shorter springs force the shocks into a much reduced range of operation they are not designed for, causing premature shock failure) and were facing the dilemma of how to recover, as there were no aftermarket shocks for the LX Hemis at that time. That may have changed by now.

Replacing their bad original shocks with OEM shocks would only repeat the cycle so everyone I was watching upgraded to KW V2 coilovers for a permanent solution (lifetime warranty).

Eibach now sells shocks specifically for the pro and sportline springs. I will be purchasing this kit since it it substantially cheaper and I have no need to adjust the height of my car w/ the coilovers.

Do you have a link for this cause all I can find is the pro damper kit for the pro kit I cant find anything for the sportslines.

i haven't seen the ones for the sportline springs, but having shocks that are built for the 1.6 drop are better than using factory shocks imo. I guess I should have worded it better...my fault.

Considering lowering my 300 touring signature series. I have 24" rims with 275/30/24 tires. Would the 1.6" Eibach work or would I then need to roll fenders, etc? Looking to lower it without making any mods to the body

you would have to roll the fenders, or put 22's on it and lower it.

I haven't had any issue with my eibach pro kit. I agree with the comment that the car sits a little higher in the back. its also the way the design slopes that adds to that look.
