Front end bottoming out on SRT question

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced one-sidded bottoming out on the front end. When I say bottoming out, it truely isn't bottoming out but the tire hits the wheel well. This seems to only happen on the right side. Sometimes it doesn't take a huge hit to do it either. Driver side seems to have no problem. I do have 22" wheels but I would think that both sides would be effected to some degree. I seem to remember that I read somewhere that the right strut came from DCX with problems on some cars?

Just curious to see if anyone else has encountered this.

I have 22"s on my SRT8, and I have never had that problem. I have almost 5000 miles on it.

*I dont have an SRT*

But I dropped with a hotchkis TVS kit and put on 265 45 20 and 295 40 20 ( About 1" taller than stock ) on my Magnum and I had some rub issues ONLY when I would go down my dads gravel road. Something with how the car would pitch and yaw on the pot holes ( driving at 5-10mph )

I did a little fend lip "tweaking" and I have not had the issue since.

Are you getting just a rub or are you getting some tire cutting ? and what size tire are you running ?

This only happens to me at freeway speeds and it just seems odd to me that only one side does it. It can take a healthy hit and the passenger side sounds nasty but the driver side doesn't make any sound. I got 265/35/22 and there doesn't seem to be any severe tire marks on the tire so I'm guessing there's nothing cutting into it and I can't see any severe marks under the fender lip. When I went to look at the fender I expected to see some nasty rub marks but didn't see much if anything. To me its pretty weird that only one side will do it.

Thanks for the feedback

Hemi31 has some issues with an Endlink or something along those lines. Might want to PM him on LXForums and ask, he is typically very helpfull guy.

Something else is that putting heavier wheels and tires accelerates the wear on parts.

any spuspention mods ?

Thanks for the replies Rob

Nope no suspension mods and the car has maybe 1200 miles on it. I honestly think the car was in an accident. It was a dealer trade and the dealer I bought it from told me they didn't "check it out" before I took possession. I had it up on the rack one day and noticed the driver side wheel was making a clunk and figured it might be a wheel bearing....dealer said it was fine. I noticed a few missing/broken plastic parts under the hood and the dealer I took it for that asked me if it had been in an accident..........this is my second 300....first was a total lemon and now this one is starting to wear on me. I love the car just don't like the time sink it has been to enjoy it.
