Talking

A few teaser shots of the module in the center console.

It will be complete tomorrow afternoon...

I was first thinking about cutting up the dash bezel and mounting it right here but then I thought, can not cut very straight. LOL

Then I said what the hell and put it in the center console. I had to make a little spacer for it to sit flush with the edge. This pic is from the driver side.

This is from the pass side. See how small it is. NICE!!!

Also the white cable is for my iPod that goes to the Clarion unit.

Plus I can still remove the coins that are in the holder...

Well Noid, you KNOW I'm anxiously awaiting the final pics of your install and to hear all about the workings of this system! Thanks for the previews. Hurry up afternoon! Are those pics upside down or is the installed unit upside down????

OK I am done with this install and to let you know... I have no idea how a KW2 install feels but I am pretty sure that it can't be better than this Tein system with the EDFC!!!! AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Before the motors went on...

First motor goes on...

Then the next one...

Here are the back ones....

Also yes I know... my engine department is dirty...

As for the controller I took a few pictures from the pass. side and that is why it seems to be upside down... but from the other pictures you can not see any of the wiring. The complete install took about 2 hours from start to finish. Running the wires from pass. side to the engine department took the most time... I will be also taking a hole saw to the covers and putting them back on and you will see be able to see the motors. The motors have a rubber boot to protect it from water.

Also as for the ride...

Let's just say this... I was crusin' on a nice smooth freeway and had the settings a little soft for freeway driving... then I knew I was going to take a nice left turn onto another freeway. I pressed one of my presets to make it firm and boy that curve was no problem.... then I am on the 710 freeway here in Los Angeles... one of the worst ones... and I press another preset and boy the ride was like I was floating... nice and smooth and no hard bumps at all...

PRESETS!!!!! got to love them!!!!!

Bruno... the keys are yours on Friday night the 23rd... you will love it!!!!

You know it! I can't wait. Actually, it sounds a little scary but exciting!

What a great install of this unit; you have outdone yourself! Do-it-your
self folks will certainly appreciate your pics and comments. That's cool you were able to test it out on the 710 and to hear how simply it transitioned into your desires.

Thanks Lucky Noid for going to all this trouble. I know I'll be happy I waited for the TEIN EDFC Suspension kit. Now, if only TEIN would finish manufacturing this kit for the 300c!

I'm happy for you and again thank you for spearheading this company's product for our LXs!

How many days do we have left??

12 more days until party time at the Double Tree... Vodka, tequila and chocodilas... MMM MMM GOOD!!!

Thank you for the kind words and the wiring was simple as well. Since I already have a aftermarket radio installed. I just tap off those wires. I think that after SF I might change the controller location to just right of the headlight switch... there seems to be enough space there but I am not sure if I want to see it all the time.

I will be talking to Tein on Monday and giving them some of these pictures just incase they want to use it for there site and I will bring up the 300C and SRT8 product as well...

So after a year and 2 months... the suspension is 100% down from Tein.

I am not sure if I want to upgrade the sways because I already have the Road and Track package and I heard that it didn't make that big of a difference on my type of car.

12 days?? With this awesome weather predicted to continue warming up into the 80s, our frozen members are going to love it all, especially the extra Chocodiles on hand around the DoubleTree.

I'm sure TEIN will appreciate your install pics. Just make sure you tell them to finish the system for the 300c FIRST and LAST for the SRT! For once, I would just love to have something BEFORE that Birdman get's his hands on it. (hope he's not reading this)
