This doesn't make sense...
I can't imagine the difference is that great between the 300 and the Charger. The top of the rear shocks sticks up into the trunk on the 300, so the top mounted EDFC (sp?) should work.

Hey, if anyone had the Tein Charger set up and is concerned bout fitting the 300, I'll trade you my KW's

I just called my contact and yes that car is there getting a coil-over system on it and he is telling me that the EDFC system will not work. He will be sending me an email why it won't work.

Why do I suddenly have the feeling that I just got bent over and ****'d? The big issue I see with why the EDFC doesn't work is because according to their website that model of coilover is not EDFC compatible. Without the EDFC though, I'm glad they didn't use my ride. Well I guess its time for a Charger set of coilovers or to adapt the EDFC controllers to work on KW v2s.

I'm sorry, but...all this wasted time? and for what exactly? Tein products? (they ain't THAT good guys)

In the end just so you can just sit in your car and play with buttons to the suspension????

Geeze...seems quite silly to me.

I really value this option. I had adjustable suspension on my Vette and used it almost as much as the stick.

It really depends on how wide the adjustability is though. There are cars out there with adjustable suspension that you may as well just "play with buttons" for as much difference as they make.

I can't wait to read the discouraging news from TEIN.

I thought that was the whole point of R & D....to take a vehicle and in this case, custom create a coilover to work with the 300 suspension that would be compatible. Not one 300 had this procedure done. Putting on a set of already made coilovers is not R & D. I don't blame you for being upset. Very unprofessional in my opinion considering the emails TEIN already sent about the future testing. I'll let you go first with getting the Charger suspension with EDFC installed!

HHM,
It isn't about playing with buttons but rather a simplified method of making adjustments on the fly depending on the type of road surface. You would need to test drive a Charger with this product to understand why so many of us were excited to see this happen.

Not to fan the flames but I agree with you. I have the KWv2's and no longer have the desire to change the settings or increase the rebound/bounce on my car. I experimented with all the V2 dampening settings over a few months, from almost full open (3 to 4 turns open) to 1/2 turn open, and many different settings in-between these two extremes. I have settled on 1/2 turn open on the fronts and 3/4 open on the rears. I just hate being flung out of my seat with a big rebound bounce.
1/2 to 3/4 turn open keeps the rebound bounce to a minimum.
Folks that want to keep experimenting to find the preferred settings, the TEINS will make it easier to adjust. But in my case, once I found my preferred setting I will never change them again.

Tein

Ok do you guys want to hear the good news or bad news first?

Well first off the bad news, the EDFC does not fit on the prototype coilovers on my ride. The thread on the front coilovers were not enough.

The good news is that there going to fix the problem, so the producttion super street coilovers will be compatible with the EDFC! I guess word around the street gets around.

The ride is awesome, and manually clicking the dampening is easy! I have 10 clicks of dampening all the way around. drives smooth very close to stock! And it is slammed! Nice job Tein!
