After speaking with 4u2nv, he went from 265/35/22 to 265/30/22 and got almost another full inch out of his drop when pancaked. That made up my mind on the tire size.

I used to own TIS 07's with 265/35/22, and after going to the 30 series on my second set of wheels I can definitely see why you would get the extra inch. The 30 series is already nearly resting on the plastic liner, and the 35's would have definitely restricted me on the full pancake. The difference in the tire size is easy to tell when you look at how close the tire is to the upper control arm bolt. You have a lot more room with the 30 series than the 35's.

(For reference: the wheel size in both situations was 22" x 9.5" offset 18)

Simans, how would you say the ride is w/ your 265/30/UAS compared to 265/35/non-UAS setup? The idea of 265/35/22 already scares the ****ens out of me hehe

There is little to no difference between the two setups. The UAS is a bit more stiff when lowered, but that's to be expected. In my opinion, there is no ride quality difference between the 35 and 30 series tires

I've been riding on aftermarket wheels and suspension on different vehicles for over 9 years though, so taking past experience into account, my opinion may be much different than speaking with someone who's riding on smaller tires for the first time.

Yea, that'll be me. I'm coming from a truck world to 35 (possibly 30) series tires. It's going to be interesting. hehe

You can but the tires will rest on the inner fender lining. I have 35 series tires.

ok what about

1. Driving in the winter... is this doable?

2. What is the warranty with UAS? lets say I do blow a bag, how fast can I get another one, and is it warrantied?

3. Are the bolts now included in all kits to secure the bags in place (not sure what you guys were talking about, but something can come out? when placed on a lift?)

Yes it can be done but the only problem you can run into is cracked water traps as well as frozen valves if you dont empty the water trap or tank and you get water in the valves.

Most shops will replace bags if the bags blow due to factory defect, but most of the time blows bags are due to user error if it be too much psi or, installer error.

From my experience with floating bags they are usually retained by the shock travel or in our case struts and shocks

I drove mine the last month of cold winter weather, and have had zero problems. As GROUNDED has already touched on, I'm sure the catch cans would be a worthwhile investment if you're concerned about freezing water in your system.

I also opted to mount all of the valves inside the trunk. The heat from the compressors running is enough to get them warmed up during the cold months. It was in the single digits for nearly an entire week when I first installed the system, and there were no negative effects.

Otherwise they will last you a long time. On a VW (same bags as the LX) we used for road testing on our bags we are at over 75k miles and the same air system (6 years and running).

We give a 3 yr, 36k mile warranty on the entire system except the compressors, they are 1 yr.

The bolts are now included when you order the UAS kit.
