hmmm... well i definitely still do want to be able to hear the air release... i just like the sound... i mean.. can you hear the release with the silencers on? do they bolt on or?

And also.... when does the compressor come on anyway? the second you use ANY air? or when you empty the whole tank.... like if my tank is full... and i drop it... and lift it back to ride height once.... will it turn on? or are there settings..

Do you have any part numbers for the guage, and the controller?

Yes, I do have the "joystick" on the guage. The part number is ODYR-24-1. That joystick is very unpracticle though. After a couple of weeks, I went back to Zack and asked him to install the 3 switch box into my ash tray. Much easier and faster. I hated toggling the joystick until it allowed me to drop the corner I wanted dropped.

I know what you mean about the sound. I like it also. I installed two sets of dump valves on my accord. One set dropped it really slow and the other set dropped it very fast. Just depened on what switch I hit. Sometimes you just dont want to scare the folks that are a mere 5' from your car, but you still want the car dropped. So out of respect, I would drop it with the slow valves. Now, with the 300C, I keep the silencers on just because it is the car it is. It isn't a minitruck or ricer type car. So I dont want the loud suspension. HOWEVER- And that is a HUGE HOWEVER....When it comes to turbo, I'm by far in the same boat. I want that SOB to wake up the neighbors and scare the bejesus out of whover I'm passing.

As for the compressors, if my car is fully dumped and I lift it to driving height, they will turn on. I think they kick on at about 165PSI and shut off at 200PSI. They are not adjustable, but you can purchase adjustable pressure switches. Zack doesn't recomend the adjustable switches because they dont kick on until the PSI is very low.

i see... well lets say you wanted to remove the silencers.. how long would it take you?

and also, have you ever timed the compressor after lifting it once... like exactly how long does it take?

Each valve has two ports. An in and an out. The air line is connectoed to one end and the other end will have the silincer.

It is as simple is screwing a plug into that 1/2" threaded hole. Extremely simple as long as your valves are in an accessable spot.

I've never timed the pumps before but I'm pretty sure they are on for less then 2 min. after lifting the suspension all the way up once.

That's a perfect explanation. You can easily unscrew the 1/2" slow down if you want to. It has a hex head so you can put a crescent wrench on it to take it out. Although, as you stated, your valves would have to be easily accessible.

I would agree with 4u2nv and say that it only takes a few minutes to fill back up after raising it from a full dump.

I have a Viper 791, and I typically will remote start it prior to getting in. This allows me to bypass MOST of the time it takes for the compressors to run if the tank is already low. When I bring it back up to my ride height, they'll kick on for less than 30 seconds after I get in it, and I'm on my way.

While I'm on the topic, the 9 button switch box allowed for an AUX input for a remote dump with my alarm/remote start. I LOVE having the option to watch the car pancake from outside the car. Very cool feature. It sounds like you went with the remote option already, so you won't have to worry about it, but I just thought I'd mention how damn fun it is to use. lol
