I also have the 265/30/22, but I know you can go even wider then that and I kind of wish I did. I think there is a 285/30/22 and that would have been a little bit better. Or atleast for the rear.

Well, I didn't want to make it sound like silencers would make the system too quiet. Its kinda hard to explain to someone. I have been around air bagged vehicles for quite some time and have heard systems both ways. Without the silencers, the sound is almost deafening if you are closer than 5 feet to the car.

Personally, the sound with the silencers is still fairly loud. People will be able to hear it from quite a distance.

I'm guessing the only way to truly silence the air would be a suuuuuuuuuuuuper slooooooooooow drop?

Yeah, but with mine, I only have and automatic setting for the engine start. There aren't any buttons that I could just hit once to get my desired height. You know what I mean? I'm probably not going to change it, but I do kind of wish I went ahead with your controller. Just more options. And I like options. LOL

I have to agree with you there. Just the other day, I pulled up to my daughters soccer practice and dropped my car at the park. There were people in the field (which was a good hundred yards or so away) turn to see what the noise was. It doesn't actually silent the air. It just makes it quieter. There are places to have a loud air system and then there are places not to I guess. Car show - Doesn't matter how loud. Date with your best girl - Not so loud. You might like the attention, but sometimes it is a bit embarassing to the ladies.

This could still be done with this controller, but you would need to switch it to manual mode first on the controller. Once you hit any of your presets, then it would go to that desired height and correct it from there on out. On this controller, once you adjust it manually, the system will not do anything to correct it. It only corrects when using one of the presets.

If you are wanting to make the dumping sound not audible, that would be tough to do. The dump feature does exactly that, you are opening a valve to allow all the air in that bag to be released. So the sound you are getting is 120 psi (rough guess depending on how much you have in the bag) coming out of the bag through a 1/2 hole. It will come out quick because the weight of the car pushes it out. Kinda like when you are trying to deflate an inflatable chair or raft. When you put your weight on it, the air rushes out faster than if you just let if come out on its own.

Your options would be nitrogen or adding more air on tap so to speak. If you add another tank, you will have more in reserve. I am going to be running 2 5 gallon tanks on my new setup. This does two things, it will have more on in reserve so the compressors won't need to kick on as soon, plus the pressure drop will not be as great so the compressors won't need to run as long to refill the tank. But I will be running 6 compressors, so that should really speed things up. LOL.
