Sounds like you're all set.

Not a bad idea at all. That'd be one way to keep the valves warm during the winter months.

trying to think outside the box... or... inside the spare well... lol

i was also thinking about building little boxes out of mdf and completely enclosing the two compressors then just drilling holes in the part where it sucks the air in... just to make it as quiet as POSSIBLE lol... i like modifying stuff lol

get a slot port speaker box for your subs and mount the compressors in the box.

i have a ported box...but i think it would actually be louder... cuz right now there in the spare well... with 1/2 wood fake floor...and it would have to go thru my speaker box and my leather seat... if i just put in my box... then it would just be the leather seat... not to mention the constant beating they would take

you know ive been wondering... my gramps has a 2006 mercedes s430 and it has factory adjustable air suspension... how come you cant hear his compressor AT ALL... and how come he doesnt have freezing problems? what do they use...

I tell ya' man, you're on a mission. lol

I'd personally give the compressors some room to let the heat sinks on the top disperse as much of the heat as possible, but that's just my opinion.

I came from a sport compact background involving big turbos and open cut-out exhausts, so the compressor howling for a few minutes is almost satisfying to me during my absolutely SILENT ride in the 300. lol So I'm sorry if my input isn't exactly as exploratory as yours, but that's what this thread is all about!

I highly doubt that the Lexus is moving nearly as much air as you will be. Building the amount of pressure that is necessary to raise and lower the 300 is going to bring about the need for these heavy duty compressors and components. Now if the Lexus was going from higher than factory specs to laid out like a mini truck... there might be a different story. lol

The thing I love about the UAS setup is just this... the two drawbacks that you've listed are completely just "the way it is". The sound of the compressors is what you'd expect considering their heavy duty and can be beaten on without hesitation, and the freezing valves is caused by a natural condensation process. lol

UAS kicks ass.
