VIAIR is taking care of all my warranty issues! Great customer/tech service! Here are a few pics of my tank also. It fits perfectly in the rear of the trunk. Easy to take in and out too. Great option for all those with air ride.

My buddy got the fab work done on the clasp to hold down my tank. I love it! We found some clasps that fit 7" diameter tanks at a local welding shop. I'm just going to spray the clasp black and then carpet the mounts that secure themselves to the floor and call it a day!

I'll post pics as soon as I get it all finished up.

Anyone can chime in on this... but I just wanted to share my aggravation with my compressors.

After speaking with Zack, I was able to troubleshoot the compressors only to find out that I had a bad check valve in one leader line, a leaking joint on the other leader line, and one compressor that wasn't building pressure.

I spoke with VIAIR regarding these issues, and they had me send them the bad pump and both leader lines. During all of this, Zack sent me a new leader line and I was able to pair this brand new leader line up with the one good pump that I had.

Now to give you an idea of my aggravation, I completely disconnected any pump/leader lines from my tank and hooked up JUST the nitrogen tank. Over a weeks period now, my tank/bags have yet to lose 1 lb of pressure with just the nitrogen tank hooked up. I have one line coming into my stainless tank (nitrogen) and one line going out (to the valves). This has proved to be a completely leak free setup.

As soon as I take out one of my plugs from my tank and install the leader line and compressor, I will leak out the entire 200PSI from my tank over night. The ONLY thing I can think of at this point is that the compressor that I didn't send out (what I THOUGHT was the good compressor) is causing some sort of issues with leaking. But on the other hand, if the check valve is doing its job, then it wouldn't matter what the hell was wrong with the pump.

Is it possible that I received yet ANOTHER leader line with a bad check valve? Zack sent me this brand new in a sealed VIAIR bag, so I can't imagine it would be bad.

I am amazed that when simply adding on the one leader line my system all the sudden becomes leak crazy. Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas on this subject?

Thanks!

I am almost beginning to wonder if you have an issue somewhere else. When you hook up the nitrogen, are you still using the air tank, or just using the nitrogen tank?

If you really think it is coming from the leader hose check valves, add an external check valve. See if that makes any difference. I know some have claimed to have issues with the Viair leader hoses, I haven't had any issues as of yet. So I can't really comment as to their reliability.

No, the nitrogen tank is routed through my 5 gallon. The only difference between leaks and no leaks is when I hook up my leader line and pump. I simply pull one of the plugs on the 5 gallon and add the pump, and the leaks come back. Everything else remains the same.

That definitely sounds like a check valve issue. I am assuming you checked to make sure it wasn't leaking at crimps on the braided line or fittings going into the compressor and the tank.

I know you are just using them for back up, but you might want to get an external check valve. That will keep it from leaking at the tank back down into the compressor.
