I know you are just using them for back up, but you might want to get an external check valve. That will keep it from leaking at the tank back down into the compressor.

Yeah, I sprayed this bad boy down with soap/water and see/hear no leaks whatsoever. It's going back through the hose though because when I take the intake off the pump, I can hear air coming back out of it.

Can you guide me in the right direction for an external check valve? Brands, places to buy, etc.?

Thanks Shawn!

A year and a half brings about a lot of change. lol I traded in my '06 300C for an '07 CSRT8, installed my old bags on my buddy's 2007 Charger, and after riding around on Sportlines on the SRT for about a year, I'm going to be back on bags this weekend! Reading through this old thread brought about some great memories (and some bad ones too lol), but two air ride installs and two spring installs later, my confidence is obviously quite a bit higher than the first time I ever tore down an LX. Can't wait! I'll post new pics of the SRT8 this weekend.

Few more pics.

Aired all the way up:

Thought this looked kinda crazy:

Laid out:

I went with the 7 switch this time around. Much smaller than the 9, and I can still go side to side by hitting individual corners:

Some silver love:

That's looking awesome! Can you tell me one thing? Are the door mouldings literally stuck on, or did you require welding to give the doors (sides) a smoothed out look?

Thanks for the comments! The door moldings are simply double-sided taped on. There is the possibility of paint/clear issues when removing them though. Most don't have any issues, some do. I haven't had problems with either of my LX's, nor did my buddy with his Charger. Although, you still might want to use the search function and search "demolding" or "removed molding" to gather some more info. Good luck!
