Eibach Sportline vs Pro-Kit

With 22" Rims on a 300 Touring, would you guys suggest the Pro-Kit or the Sportline kit?

Also, what else would I need to buy... just the kit? Or new shocks as well?

Thanks

Well i have a C but i dont think it really makes a difference suspension wise. I've got sportlines with 22's for about a year and half or so now and never changed my shocks, im thinking of getting the pro-damper kit but you should be alright as i havent had any problems thus far considering the roads here in mtl arent exaclty the greatest.

I'm in the same boat right now too. The Sportlines will give you a 2.0"/2.0" drop, while the Pro-Kit will give you a 1.6"/1.6" drop. So I guess it depends how low you wanna go. There are many who have the 2.0" drop with no rubbing or aything with 22's.

As far as buying anything else, that's where I'm having a problem. Springs alone work, and will for a while. But no matter what, they will wear your stock components faster due to less shock travel. That means you will have to replace your shocks sometime for sure, which from what I know is upwards of $500. Lowering kits such as the KW V1's come with new shocks designed to cooperate with the lowering springs, which are adjustable by the way. But that kit is about $1200!!!

Choices choices, good luck with whatever you do. Right now, I want the Pro-Kit, and I'll just suck up the problems later on. I never have more than me (130lbs) and my wife (about the same) in my car, so I don't think my shocks will wear too fast. HEMI_MAN said 1.5 years with sportlines and he's still running strong. I can only assume that he weighs more than me and has people in his car once in a while. So his shocks would need replacement faster than mine, which means I'll be good for a couple years at least.

Good luck in your choice, and let us know what you do!!!!

I was close!?!? Either way, you shouldn't have a problem. I'm about 90% sure that I'm just gonna go with the pro-kit and hope my shocks last many years!!

Do you need to roll the fenders if you go with the sportlines?

Just ordered the Pro-Kit from EBay today!!!! It was $199 with $45 shipping. They're coming from Miami so they should be here by Monday or so. And then I'll have them on soon after. I'm not sure if I'm gonna put them on myself or just pay a shop to do it. I might just get some quotes and then see from there.

That's too much for me, even though it's only a .4" difference. I've seen a bunch of pics of 22's with the pro-kit, and then yours plus some others with 22's and the sportlines and they look identical. But that .4" more of travel makes me feel a little better.
