Sportline Install $$ ?

How much do you think it would cost if I bought the Eibach Sportline kit and took it to a suspension shop to have it put on, or is it a simple enough task to do it in my own garage?

Sportline install?

I bought a set of sportlines from ebay last week for $240 shipped. got them Sat and just took the car in to get them put on and I was quoted $400 for install and Allignment. I also went with a great name shop and not the cheaper route so not to sure if that is a rather high price. (I thought it was) but the people I work with said that that was about right.

The cheapest quote I got was $250. I ended up doing them myself with a buddy. Took about 8 hours because we had to go to the store 4 times to get stuff he didn't have, and we both haven't had too much experience.

It's not that hard to do yourself. I used the spring install how-to posted on the LX forums and it was dead on, made it very easy.

So tell us how does it feel after you have put them on . Is the car just lower, or does it feel more solid ride like German cars , Merc. and BMW .. I hate the current soft ride of my 300c and wants to get the feeling of German cars with less vertical motion of the car over the bumps .. your feedback would be very helpful indeed ..
