The basics are that a strut tower brace reduces flex in the unibody (prevents the tops of the shocks from moving around). The sway bars couple both sides of your suspension and reduce the body rolling on top of the suspension and wheels. Electrofied just did a great write-up on what sway bars do here:
Suspension for Newbies- Sway Bars

stiff

these cars are not "flexy flyers" as delivered. Very little flex or cowl shake. And there IS a great brace already there doing that job.

The strut tower brace is for looks only, and a great way to impress people when they look under your hood.

Spend your money for sway bar upgrades. we could use some roll stiffness.

I guess that depends on how you drive it. I agree that for daily driving or drag strip you don't need a strut tower brace, but if you do any road course or auto cross driving it will help. If you start hitting hard track corners fast, you'll feel the flex in the unibody in both the front and the rear.
