2 inch drop?

if possible can anyone who has a 2 inch drop front and rear post a pic or two of the gap between the tire and fender? i have 1.5 right now and it seems low but i want to go lower i can still stick 2 fingers between tire and fender and i have 265/35/22. is there a lot of rubbing if i go lower? right now i dont hae any problems. also are the springs for a magnum and 300 the same? if so i was going to use the ones i have now in my car for my gfs magnum cuz she wants it lowered. thanks

Check out Raj's website (bigbody300). He's got a lot of pictures. He has the Eibach Sportlines on which give it a 2" drop all the way around.

How long have you had your 1.5" springs in? Maybe they haven't settled to their maximum potential. I've had mine in for about two and a half weeks, and they've settled to about 1.5" all around, and haven't changed in the last week. But from what I've heard, they'll settle for as long as I have them in, but very very little at a time. Have you seen Dennis808's car? He has the Eibach Pro-Kit (1.6"F, 1.5"R) which is what I have, and his drop looks like Raj's.

Just a thought, or a few thoughts!

with 265's in there, you may encounter some rubbing. The general concencus I've recieved in relation to a 2" drop is to go with 255/35 tyres.

I'm running 265/35 R22 with the Sportlines and I just encountered my first incident over the weekend. The inner fender on passenger side was extremely rubbed by the tire and now has the wave thing going on the inner fender (there is no visible body damage)....GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! Not happy about that! I love the drop but I'm about ready to get the Pro Kit and swap them out...DAMMIT!

Id stick with the 1.5 drop - mine have been in for over a year and they have continued to slowly settle in - in fact I can only get about one and a half fingers in there - the fender that is lol

I've been told to go with 255/30 tyres if I use the Sportline springs. Very little chance of rub, plus I worked out on a tyre calculator that it's 1% off the stock rolling diameter at highway speeds. My only concern is the ride might be a bit rough with such low profile tyres, but hopefully the Eibachs will offset that.

What kind of difference in ride do the Sportlines give? I've heard they give a much 'tighter' feel to the steering and suspension, but what about bump absorbtion?
