KW V2 motion and ride quality?

For those riding on the KWs, V1 or V2, does it seem like the ride is a bit more bouncy when the road has small hills and valleys??

Lately my 300C SRT8 seems to be slightly more bouncy than before?

Anyone else notice this?? Is there a way to adjust the dampening to be a bit more stiff?

If you have the v2, yes, you can adjust the dampening. On the v1, it comes from the factory w/ a preset dampening level and cannot be adjusted.

My v2's took out almost ALL the bouncy/rolling feeling you decribe above.

Here is a thread that may give you some suggestions on proper settings for your system. Good luck!

I have my fronts open 1/2 turn, and the rears 3/4 turn. This is perfect. Very short and tight bounces.

KW's recommendation is 1 turn open on the fronts, and 2 turns open on the rear. I would guess this is the stock settings from the factory. But you should check them before you start to drive.

To adjust the coilover -
1)Place the KW adjuster or 2mm Allen key on the adjustment tab/Allen bolt.
2)Turn the adjuster clockwise until it stops. This is now adjusted to full hard. (clockwise =harder).
3) Turn the KW adjuster or 2mm Allen key counter clockwise to soften the rebound setting to the desired level.

Here is a link to the instructions.

Really good info, folks!!! I'm looking to do something to lower - and tighten - the suspension on my new SRT8 and the KW V2's look like THE way to go!

Tork's writeup is superb...all I need now is the Hennessey Performance alignment specs and I'm good to go. If anybody has those, or knows of a link to them, I would much appreciate getting them!
